Blue Lacy mix - need to rehome

We need to re-home our Blue Lacy (mix) dog. Right now he lives mostly indoors and it is really hard on him. He's predominantly Blue Lacy (the State dog of Texas!) and now we know these dogs are working class dogs that are intelligent and need a job/helping on a Ranch or a Farm. He'd do best in a situation that gave him significant access to open space/exercise. He is a FAST runner and would be great at being trained to help with livestock. He also loves to play and is very agile. Currently he sleeps in his kennel at night. He tends to view cats and very small dogs more as play things (or prey, again the working dog in him), so he'd do best with other dogs like himself or bigger. He's about 44 lbs, lean, alert, and muscular. Again, the Blue Lacy dominance in him would do great on a Ranch or Farm where he could breathe in fresh air and have a job to do daily with his people. We are asking for a $60 re-homing fee. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and is microchipped. Serious inquiries only. He is a good dog, we are just not the right family for him.
