As of July 1, 2022, California will require all alcohol servers, their managers, and anyone checking IDs to have trained and certified in Responsible Beverage Service (RBS). In this five hour TIPS/RBS class, participants will learn about safe alcohol service, legal and licensed responsibilities, and the details specific to California. With alcohol service, teams need to know how to adhere to the law and how to manage difficult situations. TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is the leader in responsible beverage service, used for nearly 40 years in all 50 states and internationally. Taught by Blake Tucker aka “Dr Inkwell,” this class will not only provide participants with the knowledge to pass their certification exams, but will also give them access to a cocktail and spirits expert if they want to learn more.
