Description
Will be returned to the shelter after this weekend Patrick is a really good dog. He went after the cat. Our cat is recovering well but we can’t chance it again. We adopted Chico aka Winston we renamed him Patrick about four weeks ago from the Shelter. Patrick was 98 pounds when he came into the shelter we have been feeding about 6 cups a day right now to get him back to the weight he supposed to be at. Our issue with the adoption is that Patrick does not like cats & we have an indoor cat & a outdoor cat that we feed. So Patrick is being leashed walked and is having to stay in the master bedroom/bathroom. It’s just not fair for him he is such a love bug and gentle. He does well with our kids all under 5, he does well with our 2 small dogs he such a sweet heart. The Shelter said we can return him. However the shelter is already full I hate to put him back in that system. He made such progress. Here is the medical info from the shelter- Patrick has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccines. Patrick is heartworm positive but has started treatment As his new adopter you will need to take Patrick to the shelter to complete his treatment. This does not cost you anything. I’m just trying to transfer the adoption out of my name & into yours. We want Patrick to have a fur-ever loving home. I’m glad we could help in his recovery. No adoption fee we are in Burleson. We will need to go to the shelter just to transfer over the adoption. I will give you him remaining medication and final steps to complete Patrick heartworm treatment. Recap he loves everyone but he hates cats. Please no cats in his new home. One last thing: Patrick is house trained, Patrick loves to roll in the grass but he wants to be with his human. I want Patrick to have a indoor home. From what we were told he was a backyard breeder dog. He deserves better then to be put back outside.
