Well established small business located in Olathe KS area‚ involved in the wholesale of water treatment and related products and equipment‚ is looking for a full-time Lab and Warehouse Specialist. The position would require associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering or related fields. Knowledge or experience in pluming or electrical are preferred. The ideal candidate should be able to learn and use chemical lab equipment such as gas chromatography and ion chromatography. Also, be able to participate in designing and operating water treatment material cleaning system. Have good work ethics. Should be willing to work in a small business setting‚ but have good teamwork spirit. Duties: • use and maintain lab apparatus • study and perform a variety of laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures. • participating in developing new testing procedures/protocols • maintain laboratorial substances. • Organize and manage warehouse inventory • Operate water treatment system • other responsibilities may be assigned by Company when necessary Qualifications Needed: • Associate's degree or B.S. degree in Chemistry or related fields preferred • Knowledge of ion exchange resin is strongly preferred but not required • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical are preferred • Have good verbal and written communication skills • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF
