Our family owns two adjacent properties on Pratt near Benefit Street in Providence. I am here from my home in Poland looking for a physically fit, mature person to help me with minor repairs and maintenance, cutting grass, gardening, pressure washing, putting the workshop in the cellar in better order, general help around the properties. You should be physically fit and strong enough to carry heavy things, have a neat appearance, speak passable English (or French or Polish which I speak), be a non-smoker, and non-drinker during the day. The pay will depend on your level of experience but starts at $15 and goes up to $25 depending on how handy you are. Because I have held some USA federal government positions, the applicant must be a legal resident of the USA with permission to work, I cannot have illegal aliens working for me. Any recent arrival from Ukraine the front of the list providing you have been processed thru immigration and given permission to work. I have a lovely formal garden and am planning to put up a fence at the back, so some experience doing that would be very welcome. Some familiarity with herbaceous perennials and gardening would be ideal. This gig could continue indefinitely if you are the right person.
