Join us for an Earth Day event on Saturday, April 23! Bring your shredding and recycling, have free snacks (while supplies last) and participate in activities with Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection. Montgomery County residents may receive two free compost bins per household. Visit us Monday-Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday from 11 am - 5 pm. Rockville is located at 1029 E. Gude Drive, Rockville, MD 20850, and Silver Spring is located at 12006 Plum Orchard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide decent, affordable housing in our local community. Homeownership opportunities are made available to our neighbors who might not be able to otherwise afford to purchase their own home. Proceeds from the operation of the store go towards fulfilling this mission. In addition, we keep tons of materials out of the landfill each year and preserve thousands of items that might otherwise go to waste, both new and used.
