Our company is now hiring a scrap metal Torch Cutter. We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking Torch Cutter available to work 5 - 1/2 days a week Monday-Saturday. This position will require over time on a regular basis. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cut and size metal with an acetylene/oxygen torch or plasma torch • Maintain a clean work area • Follow safety policies and safe work procedures • Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to: Wear a respirator and personal protective equipment • Carry up to 50 lbs for long periods of time • Must be able to work outdoors 100% of the time in all weather conditions REQUIRMENTS: -Must pass a post offer screen including drug screen, physical fit test, and background check. COMPENSATION: $16.00 per hour plus production bonus. Employee will be paid $16.00 per hour, plus a variable incentive amount based on tonnage processed. The production bonus will be dependent on the work of a group of employees.
