Medium size construction/development company in Carrollton, TX seeking experienced Construction Project Manager for ground up townhome/single family home project. General Summary: Combines his/her knowledge to create successful residential construction projects from conception to completion. Will use estimating experience to estimate necessary expenditures and devise a budget. Essential Job Functions: 1-Knowledge of county and city building, and/or zoning codes, ordinances and safety regulations affecting building construction. 2-Able to examine blueprints of proposed buildings and discuss technical requirements of plans with engineers, contractors, or owners. 3-Able to coordinate county/city permit approvals. 4-Negotiate with and hire sub-contractors. 5-Schedule daily events for projects on outlook. 6-Communicate with Supervisor Daily on projects, expectations and issues. 7-Communicate with Subcontractors/Account Managers/Estimators about projects and expectations. 8-Complete Onsite evaluation of projects and submit Project Report daily for each inspected project. 9-Submit Project Reports with detailed information including photos. 10-Punch/List and Warranties are noted in Job Reports with detailed information with photos and verbiage for each item. 11-Negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors. 12-Make sure that all cost estimates submitted by a contractor are as accurate as possible. 13-Work with Account Managers / Estimators to estimate the types and amounts of materials needed to complete the construction Project. 14-Will perform other duties as assigned.
