"" What this reporter said is, Biden is trying to BUY VOTES, using Taxpayer money. His popularity ratings are slipping in all age and demographic categories. The Democrats see an opportunity to "buy votes" from one segment of society, the "youth vote". Best way to secure the youth vote is to give them tens of thousands $$ to pay off their student debt. It's a no-brainer. The PROBLEM is, Biden is transferring the DEBT onto people who never asked for the loan, never signed for it, and never benefitted from it. The OTHER PROBLEM is, most kids who go to college are middle class to upper-class kids, living a very comfortable life to begin with. They got loans, because they or their families have good CREDIT, and they really don't need the money that much. They are going to college, so they can get a degree and get a good-paying job, so they can continue to live in their middle to upper class lifestyle. Biden wants American Taxpayers to foot the bill, so these middle-class and rich kids can get ahead of the people who are paying the bills. Rule number ONE in economics: If you take out a loan, you need to make sure you are able to pay the loan back and not expect someone else to do it for you. It's called "Personal Responsibility" and it has worked for generations to make us better people. This whole thing is fucked up from top to bottom. Biden is ripping off innocent taxpayers. He's also teaching college students it's OK to be irresponsible, because government will bail you out Vote for me.
