ROMAR TRANSPORTATION-JOB DESCRIPTION 8/1/21 Division: Warehouse/Shorewood Job title: Warehouse Supervisor Reports to: Warehouse General Manager Duties and Responsibilities 1. Review and efficient assignment of work for permanent and casual labor. 2. Material Handling of unloading and reloading containers, transloads, reworks and special projects 3. Communicate and Coordinate activities and requirements with Warehouse General Manager, Romar Trucking, Yard, Back Office Staff, Customers and their Vendors and Carriers. 4. Prepare and ensure accuracy of bills of lading and back up paperwork, take pictures and document load damage and discrepancies. 5. Maintain inventory (Physical and Spreadsheet entry) 6. Billing, timely and accurate 7. Maintain Maintenance records for Forklifts. 8. Additional duties as assigned by Manager. Ideal candidate will be a “hands on” working Supervisor at Shorewood assisting Manager with daily operations, billing, inventory control and work assignment using computer skills, Safety and Team and Customer performance techniques. . Requirements 1. Experience with sit down forklift. 2. Experience with Outlook, Excel and Word 3. Good communication skills 4. Positive attitude and can work well with others. 5. Good follow up methods
