SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County coronavirus cases hit 44,820 as of Sunday, when the county last updated its data. The total reported includes people who tested positive through antibody testing, according to Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone. He added that the county map of cases is slow to update to the real-time numbers of reported cases. The map includes "presumptive" positive cases with a confirmed address. Presumptive positive cases without confirmed addresses are noted in "township not known" and not represented on the map. The map doesn't include cases pending from the NYS Department of Health.
