Company Description: We are a water desalination equipment design and manufacturing company in St. George, Vermont (Burlington area). We build custom reverse osmosis desalination systems for clients all over the world. Our clients include hotels, mining companies, municipalities and other industrial applications. Job Description: Fabrication and assembly of water treatment equipment. This typically includes, but is not limited to: 1) Precision cutting, gluing, and fitting of schedule 80 PVC piping networks. 2) Fabrication and assembly of equipment based on engineering drawings. Mounting pumps, filters, gauge panels, etc. on prefabricated skids. 3) Internal outfitting of shipping containers by installation of insulated stud walls, finishes, electrical, air conditioning, etc. 4) Installation, assembly, and wiring of valves, instruments, and gauges 5) Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of shop space, tool boxes, and inventory storage areas. 6) Supervising/managing part time labor when applicable. 7) Shipping and receiving tasks, checking in items, crating equipment, etc. 8) Some travel may be required, this may include international trips. Required Skills/Experience: 1) Must have experience using a wide variety of tools, from power tools to basic hand tools. 2) Must understand the responsibilities associated with work in a shop environment and adhere to safety protocol. 3) Must be thorough, organized and detail oriented. 4) Must be self-motivated and carry a positive attitude. Preferred Skills/Experience: 1) Experience with piping systems, pumps, valves, and instrumentation. 2) Advanced fabrication experience including, welding steel, vertical end mill operation, wiring electrical cabinets. 3) Electrical experience, including understanding of three phase power, motors, control wiring, power wiring. 4) Experience with power distribution equipment such as variable frequency drives, motor starters, circuit breakers and disconnects.
