Hello, We have a very lovable AKC Black Lab we need to find a home for. Smokey is the epitome of the breed: Loving, gentle, and eager to please. BUT Smokey has a genetic disorder called Ectopic Ureters. This means the tubes that normally go from the kidneys to the inside of the bladder, are on the outside of the bladder making it impossible for Smokey to "hold it." We have had incontinent dogs before and we have been able to control it with medication. Smokey's issue can only be corrected with surgery and we do not have the $3000-4000 necessary to help him. We are being honest and upfront with his condition because we want him to go to a good home where maybe he could be an outside dog. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and he would come with 11 months of free Banfield Wellness Insurance. Smokey is NOT fixed.
