Retriev Technologies is looking for an individual for the disassembly of electric vehicle batteries in preparation for repair and recycling. This is a growing field and Southern California is the launching point for this exciting new industry. Duties and responsibilities • Daily set up of equipment • Daily inspection of electrical tools and PPE • Teardown electrical vehicle batteries • Sort battery components into correct storage containers • Properly labeling containers • Packaging battery components per DOT requirements. • Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations • Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • Mechanically inclined • Background of basic electrical knowledge – helpful not required. • Basic hand tool experience • Forklift experience • Detail-oriented • Ability to follow written and oral instructions • Ability to work in a team • Ability to operate a multimeter Physical requirements • This position may require you to work bending and standing for long durations. • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
