Skilled worker needed for growing construction company

Hi my name is Tyler and I own a small construction company here in Portland OR. We are growing and I am looking for someone who has skills and experience within the construction industry to join my company. Since we flip homes and take on a variety of custom jobs, I’m looking for someone who has a wide set of skills. I need someone who: Is a hustler Is able bodied Is experienced Is a problem solver Is teachable Has tools Has a vehicle When someone joins the team they will start with a 2 week trial period where I will get a chance to see their skill level and their ability to accomplish a task list. The job will be performed at either a flip site or clients site and you will know your schedule of tasks and locations at the beginning of each week. Expectations Each employee will receive a list of objectives for the week, the only thing they need to focus on is completing their list. If there are questions or problems, communicate it directly with Tyler. Tasks will range over the entire scope of repairs, remodeling, and home construction, so a varied skill set is essential. Must be a problem solver No use of cell phones unless on lunch break or in case of emergency Work schedule 9am-5:30pm, 30 minute lunch, lunch as close to 12pm as possible. Unpaid lunch, paying for 8 working hours per day. Wear Company t-shirt every day. T-shirts will be provided. Employees will be paid weekly, payments will be sent every Monday for previous weeks hours, should arrive by Friday depending on bank. If you don’t know how to complete a task you will be asked to watch videos, outside of work hours, to learn how to complete the task. You will be paid for training time. The first two weeks will be paid cash $22/hr. At the end of the trial period, if things go as planned employees will receive a raise to $25/hr and will be bright on full time. Current positions are all independent contractors. I am also looking for one team lead. Team leads are paid $30+/hr DOE so there is opportunity to advance quickly for the right person.
