MEDFORD, MA — A holiday celebration set to the songs of Frank Sinatra will continue as scheduled at the Chevalier Theatre this weekend, but COVID-19 regulations will force modifications to the performance. Namely, singer Rich DiMare will perform live from the green room backstage, which has been deemed safe by the COVID-19 Task Force. DiMare, a Boston-based jazz singer who specializes in Sinatra's songbook, will lead the show, joined by Ron Poster & The Sinatra Ambassadors. Performances are set for Dec. 5 and 6. State guidelines prohibit singing in an indoor space, a spokesperson for the theater said. The band will still perform on-stage, while DiMare is projected in real time for the audience to enjoy. DiMare DJs at Red Sox games during baseball season. He spent 15 years on KISS 108's Matty In the Morning and as a host on Boston 25. Poster is the organist for the Boston Bruins and has played at home games for the past 20 seasons. Previously: Frank Sinatra Holiday Show Coming To Medford's Chevalier Theatre
