MEDFORD, MA — A holiday celebration set to the songs of Frank Sinatra will continue as scheduled at the Chevalier Theatre this weekend, but COVID-19 regulations will force modifications to the performance. Namely, singer Rich DiMare will perform live from the green room backstage, which has been deemed safe by the COVID-19 Task Force. DiMare, a Boston-based jazz singer who specializes in Sinatra's songbook, will lead the show, joined by Ron Poster & The Sinatra Ambassadors. Performances are set for Dec. 5 and 6. State guidelines prohibit singing in an indoor space, a spokesperson for the theater said. The band will still perform on-stage, while DiMare is projected in real time for the audience to enjoy.
