Malden Man Killed In Medford Motorcycle Crash

MEDFORD, MA – A Malden man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a van in Medford Thursday night, Massachusetts State Police said. The crash happened on Fellsway North around 9:20 p.m. Police identified the driver as 29-year-old Enzo Vnicius. Investigators said the front tire of his 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle popped off, causing him to lose control and hit the rear right corner of a parked van. Vnicius and his passenger, a 31-year-old Somerville woman, were thrown from the motorcycle, police said. Vnicius hit a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger landed on the sidewalk and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
