Non-union, very experienced & professional BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN or ASST. SUPER for Maintenance team in NEW LUXURY RESIDENTIAL HIGH RISE. Our company has decades of awards & success in Hudson County NJ. REQUIREMENTS: • 5 - 10+ years full time employment as Building Maintenance Tech, Mechanic or Asst. Super in LARGE MODERN residential / commercial building(s) with 100+ apartments or offices. • MUST live in, or short commute to Jersey City/Hoboken NJ. • Speaks English, ideally Spanish too. • US citizen or legal proof to live & work in the US. • Provide REFERENCES at interview. GREAT PAY for GREAT SKILLS - YEARS OF WORK AHEAD - LONG TERM OPPTY: high performer can rise to Assistant / Full Superintendent with projects already underway & scheduled. DAILY WORK ORDERS & GEN'L DUTIES: • Apartment turnovers in teams. • Plumbing: kitchen, bath, common areas; leaks, clogs, fixtures, pipes. • Carpentry: sheetrock, painting, floor repair, mount TVs. • Light Electric: light fixtures, outlets, wiring, equipment. • Light HVAC: repair/replace equipment in maintenance closets. • Windows, doors, locksets; repair/replace. • Appliances; diagnose, light repair. • Polite, professional communication with residents & team members. • One week rotation for night/weekend Emergency Duty Extra consideration for OSHA & maintenance training, certifications.
