MEDFORD, MA — Parking is only allowed on the even side of the street in Medford during a snow emergency, according to a city ordinance. Medford did not declare a snow emergency during Saturday's storm, but residents are encouraged to park on the even side of the street when snow is expected in case an emergency is called. When snow is forecasted, residents are asked to: Make sure your cars are parked close to the curb If possible, move your car to the even side of the street Plan ahead for snow shovelingSidewalks must be shoveled within six daylight hours of the end of a snow storm.
