Young Bonded Female Rabbits

Description

We are heartbroken to let our sweet bunnies go, but we’re having allergy issues at home with our kiddos. The unaltered buns are Pepper, a Standard Rex (approximately 7 months), and Mint, a Holland Lop (approximately 5 months). They are bonded and cannot be separated. They are litter trained for pee, but do sometimes poop outside the box (bunny poop is small, hard, and doesn’t smell). They have a good sized hutch as a home base and are free roam in the living room. They need to go to a family who can also allow them to free roam and have at least 4-6 hours out of the hutch each day. They have both had their first vet visit at Hickory Veterinary Hospital. The hutch is included (purchased new for $250), as well as: two litter boxes, a wooden hay feeder, large amount of hay (Timothy hay), pellets, bamboo chew sticks, blankets for the upper sleeping are of the hutch, two tunnels for play time, scratch/chew toy, hidey house, and other miscellaneous items. The bunnies are used to the noise of children and normal household bustle. The Holland Lop can usually be picked up but we’re still working it with the Rex. Rabbits generally don’t like to be picked up as they are prey animals and it triggers their flight instincts. They eat mainly hay, some pellets, and fresh vegetables daily. They love romaine lettuce, parsley, oregano etc. Fruit/carrot etc is a treat maybe once or twice a week and in small portions. Asking $300 rehoming fee to include all the supplies, hutch, and food.
