Miss Kitty has a mind of her own & likes to change it whenever she chooses. We have learned to respect that. Today, she may want head scratches, tomorrow she may not want to be bothered. She is a gorgeous girl who seems content to just relax in her condo. We know there's a patient indoor home or a safe outdoor home that can appreciate Miss Kitty for who she is. An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
