Interested in learning more about Trackers Earth and what it takes to be an Outdoor Educator and Guide with us? Come test us out! April 30, 2022 8:30 AM (shuttle from SE PDX) - 3:30 PM (shuttle returns). Get to know what real Trackers camp feels like! Spend one Saturday with expert Trackers Guides at our epic 340-acre wildlife refuge. Our bus shuttles you from SE Portland to Sandy, Oregon (WARNING: bus songs may ensue). In the wild, secret land of the Trackers Forest you train in stealth, archery, and wilderness survival. You make fires with no matches, build forts and shelters, forage for wild edible and medicinal plants, use natural camouflage, and learn wood carving with a bushcraft knife. We may even throw some swords together! For the finale, join a band of Trackers, learning how to naturally camouflage as your team competes in the Ultimate Stealth Game scenario. This day is an opportunity for you to interview Trackers and explore our methods and philosophy. Get to know us better while learning incredible wilderness survival and outdoor skills in a fun, action-packed day out in nature. This is badass training! All materials included and all for free. Grown-ups only. This “interview camp” is for people interested in these summer positions: Teaching Coordinator Lead groups of kids and manage Teen Guides on awesome outdoor adventures sharing incredible skills. This role pays $745 - $1,175 per week. Managing Coordinator Manage a team of Teaching Coordinators, taking our bus teams out to adventure in the wilderness. (we can help you get your CDL). This role pays $940 per week. Supervisor & Educator Manage our summer camps and teach in our school-year programs in this full-time, year-round position. This role pays $48,880 per year.
