We are looking for assistance getting our farm ready for horses to return and we have several positions available. These are positions to get contract work done and some positions may turn into part time or even full time positions if you are talented enough.
Lawn and Pasture Maintenance-Must be able to drive a riding lawn mower. Need to operate weed wacker, edger, tree trimmer, leaf blower and use a rake, shovel and other lawn tools. Maintain grounds over 20 acres.
Painting-We have a variety of items to paint.
JUMPS IN ARENA-Activities include sanding, prepping poles for paint and painting jump poles.
BARS IN STALLS-Activities include sanding with wire sander, prepping area with painters tape and getting ready to paint.
Staining-We have a variety of items to stain.
Stalls
Wash rack
Stall Flooring Prep-Remove top 10 inches of soil from each stall. Add decomposed granite. Tamp down with gas powered tamp machine. Level stalls. Add stall mats back to each stall.
Arena Maintenance-Must be able to drive a tractor/drag. We need to remove any weeds and jump materials from the arena, drag arena, and set out jumps to be prepped for painting.
Sprinkler Maintenance-Maintain sprinklers for arena and other areas on the property.
Fence maintenance-Maintain all fencing and make sure in working order. Remove some areas of fence and store materials away.
