Join sketchbook artist, Jim Eng, in a workshop where you will combine journaling with artwork. Jim's sketchbooks are on display at the library - come check them out before the program to get an idea of what you can do with a good book and a bit of creativity. Please plan on bringing a journal or book you can write or sketch in. If the weather cooperates, we'll go outside to draw. Waltham artist, Jim Eng, taught for many years at Framingham State University in the Art Department. He has exhibited at the Ashland Public Library before: paintings, collages and his wonderful travel sketchbooks. For the next several months he will be exhibiting more of his delightful ink and watercolor sketches done on location around Massachusetts, New England, and his travels around the world. Please check out this exhibit located adjacent to the main circulation desk and the fireplace lounge. We request registration so we can plan ahead, but walk-ins will be welcome.
