#APART follows 3 moms working to rebuild their lives after incarceration. Louisiana Parole Project, in conjunction with Tiger Prison Project, is sponsoring a special screening of the film “Apart,” on Tuesday, April 26, at LSU’s College of the Coast and Environment theater. The film documents three formerly incarcerated women and mothers in Ohio. It follows their journey and the barriers they faced during their return home. A reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and the screening starts at 6:15 to be followed by a discussion panel that includes formerly incarcerated women, members of the legislature, the governor’s staff and the department of corrections.
