Join author, Angela Reich, docent for the Fire Island Lighthouse, as she presents her historical fiction, "Shipwreck of Hopes". "Shipwreck of Hopes" gives a good look into the heartbreaking story of the tragic wreck of the Elizabeth off the shores of Long Island in 1850 and the local residents of Babylon, Patchogue, Sayville, Islip and Fire Island who were involved in the wreck’s aftermath. Angela’s book will be available for sale $20 each (cash only) with 30% of proceeds donated to the Sagtikos Manor Historical Society. Presentation/Talk is free to the public, but please register as our capacity can only allow 60 people.
