Please join us and volunteer to help make meals and distribute to the unhoused community in the San Francisco downtown area.
BACKGROUND:
Project FEED began during Ramadan in 2008 as a community initiative to help feed the large unhoused population within San Francisco.
DETAILS:
We will begin with building meals inside the mosque and finish with distributing them to the local unhoused community within about 1 mile of the mosque. Supplies and gloves will be provided.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
We also need volunteers at 12.30pm on Sunday 4/24 for shopping and transporting of supplies from Costco in SF (450 10th St, San Francisco, CA 94103) to the mosque. If you are interested and have available car space, please mark accordingly in the order form and our contact Zeynab will reach out to organize.
NOTE:
Vaccination and masks will be required due to food safety and COVID.
Due to COVID, attendance will be limited to those who have signed up. Attendance is capped at 75.
