Caffeinating Northwest Indiana's entrepreneurs every second and fourth Wednesdays at 8:30 AM. 1 Million Cups brings together our region's entrepreneurs, innovators, startup founders, business leaders and inventors to intersect at the crossroads of doing, making, networking & coffee! Join us for 1 Million Cups Northwest Indiana! There will be networking, great presenters and feedback to help you grow your idea/business. Doors open at 8:30 AM for FREE COFFEE FROM FLUID COFFEE ROASTERS + NETWORKING, program begins at 9:00 AM.  We will be meeting at the Purdue Technology Center NWI, 9800 Connecticut Drive, Crown Point, IN 46307 The most elite high school pitch competition in the country, Innovate WithIN is Indiana’s annual high school pitch competition! It allows high schoolers from every region of the state a chance to pitch their entrepreneurial idea for a chance at $25,000 and the opportunity to collaborate with world-class innovators to help turn their business from a dream into a reality. Purdue University Northwest (PNW) and the Society of Innovators at PNW hosted the Innovate WithIN Region 6 Finals on Monday, April 18. Join us at 1MC to hear from the Region 6 Northwest Indiana winners! Hobart High School's Kayla Davis and Isis Fleming won with their pitch for Patchables. Also joining us will be Hobart High School teacher Daniel Schultz. Daniel runs an engineering and design thinking class at HHS where he implements design thinking strategies to dovetail with traditional engineering principals. His class has been a hot bed of not just engineered products and inventions, but also innovative solutions that are physically prototyped. In providing such an unusual class (for traditional education), Daniel is growing a culture of innovation at the high school. You don't want to miss this month's 1MC!
