Peggy's Porch Party with Parker Chapin We are excited to announce Parker Chapin will be performing at Peggy’s Porch Party on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 3-6:00 p.m. Arrival time is 3:00 p.m. and music will begin around 3:30 p.m. Show ends at 6:00 p.m. Weather permitting. What to Bring: Masks,chair or blanket, snacks, and beverage. This is an outside event. Weather permitting. Required: Vaccine Cards or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. We will be featuring Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for Austin's low-income, working musicians with a focus on prevention and wellness. HAAM has helped nearly 6,000 musicians across seven counties access over $112 million in healthcare services since we began in 2005. Services include routine dental work, doctor visits and prescriptions, psychiatric counseling sessions, eye exams, out-patient procedures, specialist referrals, hearing screenings, basic needs assistance and more. Parker Chapin HAAM Peggy's Porch Party Bio: An Austin-based singer, songwriter, and renowned furniture scientist, Parker Chapin delivers an eccentric, mustache + mullet image to his indie-folk and alt-country infused sing-alongs. The 27-year old spent much of his teens in and out of substance abuse treatment centers searching for meaning in the world, finding sobriety at age 20. To this day, he picks out lyrics from his rehab journals, giving them a new life through song.
