Diamond Structures, Inc., is currently seeking Carpenters & Laborers for our Bellingham team! We are a full scope commercial concrete contractor a family owned business in the Seattle area. Diamond Structures has grown into a one of the leading “Merit shop” commercial concrete construction companies in the Puget Sound area. We have completed over 60 different projects of varying scope and complexity from mixed-use apartments, hotels, assisted living, private schools and big box retail buildings. Concrete Carpenters: As a Carpenter you should be knowledgeable in structural concrete formwork with an emphasis on cast in place structures. We are looking for someone with high motivation with a get it done attitude. You should have experience with: • Formwork • Ability to read & understand blueprints • Setting snap tie walls • Able to lift 50-65 lbs. • Setting Columns You will be working outdoors in the elements in variety of weather conditions. You should have the ability to walk over rough, uneven or slippery surfaces. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday. With the occasional need to work overtime as required. This would include extended work days and/or Saturdays as necessary. Pay: $25 - $35 per hour DOE. Benefits Include: • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Paid weekly • Sick time / PTO Concrete Laborers - As a laborer you should be physically able to work in many different positions which include, but are not limited to, standing, kneeling, squatting, sitting and walking. You should have the ability to walk over rough, uneven, slippery and/or muddy surfaces. You will need to be able to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50-80lbs. You would need to have a willingness to learn and be able to take directions. We are looking for someone with high motivation with a get it done attitude. You will be working outdoors in the elements in variety of weather conditions. Some of the duties as concrete laborer: • Stripping forms • Stacking and packing lumber • Formwork panels • Stacking shores • Cleaning up forms • Cleaning the jobsite • Pulling nails Our work schedule is Monday through Friday. With the occasional need to work overtime as required. This would include extended work days and/or Saturdays as necessary. Pay: $20-$24 per hour DOE.
