Bass player looking for 90's covers or original punk, alternative, hard rock band: I am looking to get back into playing live music. Previously I played covers and originals across all genres of music. I am interested in playing punk, rock, metal, 80's/90's, alternative and upbeat/outlaw/modern country music. Classic rock, blues & slow country is of no interest to me. Location, I'm in Cypress and only interested in practicing within 15-20 minutes of Cypress. Maybe reasonably farther for the right band. Bands I like: Social Distortion, The Misfits, The Descendents/ALL, Green Day, Less Than Jake, Bowling for Soup, Metallica, Iron Maiden, New Found Glory, Johnny Cash, Eve 6 and many many more. I'm 47, have the gear I need and would like to play 2-4 shows a month.
