About the Artist: Mr. Ricky Singh is an Educator, Artist, Activist, Husband & Father of four sons. He is a resident & Community Activist for West Charlotte, who is a Founder of the “Beatties Ford Strong” movement; Started after a mass shooting in the summer of 2020 where 4 innocent victims lost their lives & many others were injured. Mr. Singh alongside other artists and community leaders banded together to uplift the Historic West End community through public artwork. Mr. Singh wanted to create a sense of pride by combining art with activism to create the beautiful murals with powerful messages that can be seen throughout Beatties Ford. Two of Mr. Ricky Singh’s works of art can be seen at Niki’s Food Shop & the West End Fresh Seafood Market (See Below). We are honored to have a Community Advocator of the West End to Lead our Initial Sip N Paint On The Yard fundraiser!
