Join us along with Sacramento County Assessor, Christina Wynn, and Sacramento County Chief Real Property Appraiser, Jim Glickman, to learn all about Prop 19 and Accessory Dwelling Units! Topics will include: Does Prop 19 affect Primary Residence? Family Trusts? Inheritance?How is an ADU value calculated?...and More!This is an in-person event. Lunch and light refreshments are included with ticket purchase. Christina Wynn, Sacramento County Assessor: Elected Sacramento County Assessor in June 2018, Christina Wynn has served with the Sacramento County Assessor’s Office for over 21 years. Christina has 32 years of experience in appraisal and assessment administration, holding positions in both the public and private sectors, and she is certified by the California State Board of Equalization as an Advanced Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes. Christina is a member of the Appraisal Institute and the International Association of Assessing Officers. She is currently serving as Vice President of the California Assessor’s Association and is past President of the Bay Area Assessor’s Association. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics. Christina lives in Carmichael with her husband Ed and miniature Australian shepherd Cooper. In her free time, she enjoys serving the community as a member of Soroptimist International of Sacramento North, baking, downhill skiing, fishing, and spending time with her grown children Connor and Avery. Jim Glickman, MAI: Jim Glickman, MAI is the Chief Real Property Appraiser of the Residential Division with the Office of the Assessor in Sacramento County, CA. His appraisal career began in 1977 with Les Glickman, Inc. in St. Louis, MO. In 1983, he relocated to Sacramento, CA to work for HomeFed Bank, FSB as a Senior Review Appraiser. He joined Clark-Wolcott Company, Inc. in 1991 and remained with the firm until late 2010. He earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1992 and served as President of the Sacramento-Sierra Chapter in 2000. In late 2010 he joined the Assessor’s Office. He is a frequent speaker & instructor for local meetings and seminars and is an Adjunct Professor at American River College where he teaches Real Estate Appraisal.
