Description

Suboxone Patients Needed as Peer Leaders for NIH Study! Healthcheckins is a new, NIH-funded peer support community and clinical counseling portal that helps chronic pain patients reduce their risk of opioid misuse. We need chronic pain patients who reside in the US, have been successfully managed by their physicians on opioids for at least 3 months, and are willing to participate in three training sessions for 12 weeks. The screening process takes 5 minutes, followed up by a follow up eligibility survey on the phone and then an online check-in process. Peer leaders receive a total of $360 for participation in the 12 week study. In order to receive this compensation, you must participate in mandatory all day, online training sessions on April 30 and May 1. Peer leaders help moderate weekly online forum discussions and then turn in a survey form at the end of the 12 week study, at which point they receive payment in full. To sign up, please fill out our short screener at this link here: If you have any questions or concerns about the study please contact our research coordinator at 760-774-4181.
