PIZZA WILL BE SERVED!Talk Synopsis: Our speaker will discuss how additive is revolutionizing manufacturing followed by a tour at Stratasys Meeting Agenda: 6:00 PM to Check in, Networking, Pizza and beverages (Allow time to check in) 6:30 Brief chapter welcome 6:40 Stratasys presentation followed by tours 8:00 completion of tourSpeaker: Allen Kreemer, Sr. Applications Engineer Allen spent 7 years working in different levels of motorsports as a mechanic, machinist, fabricator and Crew Chief on several professional formula car teams in the Indy-car and Formula Atlantic series, working with many drivers including Bobby Rahal and Sam Hornish Jr. In May of 2000, Allen joined Honda R&D Inc. as a vehicle test Engineer at their R&D center in Ohio. After experiencing the frustrations of sourcing prototype parts, he started the Additive Manufacturing Lab. He also implemented the use of FDM Technology for QC fixtures and body in white weld tooling, and is credited for developing exciting new applications of FDM and Polyjet parts for vehicle testing and wind tunnel models. Allen also managed the machining, welding and fabrication department within Honda R&D Ohio, producing parts in various materials for vehicle development projects. The results of these efforts achieved major cost & time savings on numerous projects. His enthusiastic leadership and passion for technology increased the capabilities and in-house equipment of Honda’s North American R&D center. Allen joined Stratasys in 2011 to promote FDM applications for tooling and production parts in the automotive industry. As a Sr. Applications Engineer for Stratasys, Inc. Allen uses his 20+ years of experience in the auto industry to help clients find opportunities for improvement, and manage the development of applications specific to them
