Strange things are happening in San Francisco! Guests will soon be unlocking their power, and we need your help. We’re staffing for Stranger Things: The Experience, where guests are swept into the world of the show and confronted head-on with the nefarious Hawkins Lab and other supernatural elements of the Stranger Things universe. Guests will partake in an evening of demogorgon sightings, interactive experiences, and scripted performances and will join us for food, dessert and delicious cocktails all inspired by Stranger Things. Your favorite characters will come to life throughout The Experience to relive much-loved moments of the hit series. We’re looking for a team of individuals who are passionate, hardworking, creative, observant, and energetic to become the guests main point of contact across multiple areas of the experience. RETAIL MANAGER Manage the overall organization, planning and operations of set-up and teardown sequences linked to the department Maintain & manage the on-site equipment, displays and overall look of the retail space In coordination with the Ops team, manage & set up the POS systems located at each point of sale Manage on site inventory of merchandise in coordination with the Food, Beverage & Retail Tour Operations Manager Responsible for the re-ordering merchandise coming from our warehouse in coordination with the Food, Beverage & Retail Tour Operations Manager Responsible for the receiving merchandise orders and reviewing all inventory Manage daily sales reports of all points of sale, closing of POS's and any reporting for the finance team Validate employee schedules and time sheets Work with the onsite team of managers to resolve employee issues Coordinate with Thunder Child HQ re HR related concerns in real time Assist with scheduling of Brand Ambassadors Resolve customer complaints, concerns & general needs Awareness of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience All other related tasks and additional tasks as assigned ================================================================================== IMPORTANT DETAILS ● Location: San Francisco (Mission District) ● Project Dates: ○ Training/Rehearsals begins: May 6, 2022 -May 26, 2022 ○ Open to Public: May 27, 2022 ○ Conclusion: October 9, 2022 ● Pay: $27.50/hour ● Full-Time positions available for the duration of the experience ● Must be available for multiple days of training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above) Please send us your resume and tell us about any pertinent previous and/or current consumer facing immersive employment experiences, describe those experiences and tell us why you’re the perfect candidate to fill this position
