Nearcast (www.nearcast.com) is a pre-launch neighborhood social network. We want to activate starting April 1, 2022 in and around Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Menlo Park. One use case is for local main street restaurants & food delivery businesses in our area have their customers create video feedback for them, and promote these businesses to their neighbors in exchange for a new type of crypto-currency we are creating called Nearcoin. For example, businesses on University Ave in Palo Alto and Castro Street in Mountain View who can hand out QR codes through which their customers can make video reviews in exchange for discounts. We are looking for 4 to 5 interns from local high schools, to help us recruit people in our area to test our application and create short videos of their experience dining at local restaurants in exchange for cash & discounts. Your job will be to hand out coupons and recruit people to make videos for small businesses. Ideal candidates will be local high school students, willing to work part time on evenings.
