JOB DESCRIPTION: The Machine Operator will work with the Production Manager and Engineers in the daily operation of Cruz Foam's Production and R&D facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Operate and maintain all equipment in production and R&D facilities ● Setup production lines, troubleshoot issues during operation, conduct quality checks, and accurately complete paperwork ● Organize and clean workspaces in production areas ● Handling and staging of raw materials, foamed materials, and developmental samples ● Coordinate with team to ensure production workloads are met ● Work with engineers on continuous improvement operations and processes ● Write or improve operating and safety procedures as needed QUALIFICATIONS: ● Preferable some experience working in extrusion and injection molding or other type of manufacturing facility ● Experience/knowledge with industrial mechanical and electrical systems preferred ● High School diploma or GED ● Great attention to detail and organizational skills. ● Strong communication skills GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES ● Increased responsibility and independence as facilities grow and technology advances
