The Position ProExhibits is looking for an individual who wants to learn about the exhibition and event business to join our Silicon Valley production team. ProExhibits offers a fast paced fun work environment with an incredibly diverse range of products and clients. We are an energetic and creative bunch and have high expectations for all of our employees. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Work includes physical loading, unloading, sorting of various packages by hand, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling, etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Some nuts and bolts about the job responsibilities: • Assist in shipping/receiving as needed, including packing/loading equipment and products. • Ensuring inventory is checked and complete during both the shipping and receiving process. • Maintaining a safe, neat and organized work environment. • Working closely and cooperatively with others on the ProExhibits Team. • Performing various warehouse duties, including but not limited to shipping, receiving • Works well under time deadlines and communicating with other departments. • Enjoys working with your hands and your mind, finding excitement building booths and exhibits. • Able to assemble ready-made kit assemblies and assist with set-up and dismantling exhibits. You are good at: • Basic safety procedures. • Using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. • Having an eye for details. • Troubleshooting, problem solving, comfortable working individually and as part of the team. • Self-motivation, and a strong desire to succeed. • Thriving in an enthusiastic and dynamic team environment, with the desire to make a personal impact on the company. • Learning on the job and aspiration to constantly improve. • Being able to prioritize tasks. • Encompassing a strong work ethic and professional maturity. Minimum Requirements: • Capable to work in a fast paced environment and manage priorities. • Team player with good concentration and quality of work. • FedEx/UPS experience a plus. • Able to lift 45 pounds. • Must be able to use small hand tools. • Forklift experience/certification a plus. • Comfortable on a ladder.
