Do you support term limits for Members of Congress and competitive elections in safe districts where incumbents are rubber stamped for another term? A grassroots progressive candidate for Congress is seeking an experienced finance director who wants to support the first viable candidate to challenge an incumbent in the district since his first election. Instead of the moderate Democratic incumbent running against a token Republican and being rubberstamped for another term, you can help support a progressive candidate be the change in the district that puts Congress one vote closer to acting on real progressive change and priorities. Democracy only stays healthy when even incumbents in safe districts are held accountable and are pushed to fight the fights that matter most. About you, preferably you have had previous experience volunteering or working on a political campaign. You would be the Chief Fundraising Officer of the campaign. The candidate will look to you for fundraising ideas within the community, and to raise enough money to take the campaign to the next level. The candidate who you will be working for is a progressive running in a district that was won by Bernie Sanders in the 2020 presidential primary, so an alignment of political values is important.
