Description
Are you a San Francisco pedestrian who is concerned about being injured by an electric scooter riding on the sidewalks of San Francisco? Have you been injured? Do you have any time to collaborate with like-minded San Francisco residents to present a case to the City of San Francisco to request enforcement of the law that prohibits scooters riding on sidewalks?
I am looking for fellow pedestrians who are concerned about getting injured as well as unhappy about the degradation of the pedestrian experience caused by the illegal riding of electric scooters on the sidewalks.
City Hall and the SFMTA seem to be unconcerned about this problem (if you get injured get in touch with the scooter company), so making any change to the status quo will involve a coalition.
Between the dogs on long leashes, A-frame signs, sidewalk outdoor restaurant seating, uneven pavement, bicycles, and encampments, the electric scooter is a tipping point and needs to be addressed.
Please get in touch.
