CHELSEA, NY — A man and his dog were stabbed at the 14th Street F train station in Manhattan early Wednesday, an NYPD spokesperson said. Cops rushed to the 14th Street and Sixth Avenue subway station about 4 a.m. Wednesday to find a 34-year-old man and his dog with stab wounds inside the station, according to the spokesperson. The NYPD spokesperson said the attacker walked up to the man while he was sleeping on a bench, and the two of them got into an argument. The attacker stabbed him and his dog and then ran off on the street level, the spokesperson said. Emergency personnel took the injured man to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The 4 a.m. stabbing spurred Jamaica-bound F trains to skip the 14th Street stop while police investigated. NYPD did not immediately have a description of the suspect, who is still at-large.
