BRAINTREE, MA - The Braintree Police Department announced via a Twitter post that Lucky, the department's narcotics K9, died on April 19. "We're saddened to announce the passing of Narcotics K9 Lucky after an incredible 12 years of distinguished service," according to the post. "K9 Lucky was not only one of the most prolific narcotics dogs in the Commonwealth, he was always a great ambassador for the Braintree Police Department."
