Description
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Start preparing your appetites: The Toms River Food Fest is coming back to downtown Toms River.
The food truck festival is set for noon to 8 p.m. on May 7 on Washington Street.
The Toms River Township Recreation Department is accepting applications for vendors for the event. Vendors can register online at https://register.communitypass.net/tomsriver or submit vendor paperwork with a check payable to Toms River Township to the recreation department.
Vendors who plan to cook onsite are required to obtain a fire permit through the Board of Fire Prevention, 33 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ, 732-240-5153. They must also abide by the Ocean County Board of Health regulations. There will be an on-site inspection, officials said.
The vendor must supply their own tents, tables, chairs and signs. Each space is 10 feet deep by 15 feet wide. If you need more than 15 feet you will need two or more spaces; you will be turned away on the day of the event if not in compliance. You must bring a generator if you need electric; there is no electrical service available at the site for vendors.
For more information and to obtain vendor paperwork, email Charlene Cruoglio at [email protected] or call 732-341-1000, Ext. 8411.
