Porchfest Princeton: On Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., enjoy a walkable music fest in Princeton. Arts Council of Princeton is hosting Porchfest, where neighbors offer up their front porches as DIY concert venues. Performers will play rotating sets throughout the neighborhood during this day-long celebration of music and art. Porchfest is free, and open to the public. For more information, click here. Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey, Patriots Theater at the War Memorial, Trenton: On Saturday at 7:30 p.m., enjoy a concert featuring the music of Star Wars, E.T. and more, featuring saxophonist Jonathan Wintringham. Dr. Joel Phillips, Professor of Composition and Music Theory at Westminster Choir College, will be giving a pre-concert lecture, followed by light refreshments and an interactive discussion in the Lower Lobby at 7 p.m. For tickets, visit: www.capitalphilharmonic.org or call 609-656-3224. The Diary of Anne Frank, Kelsey Theatre, West Windsor: Mercer County Community College's Academic Theater and Dance Programs present Wendy Kesselman's new adaptation of the original stage play by Goodrich and Hackett, in which survivor accounts and newly discovered writings from the diary of Anne Frank are used to create a contemporary story of those persecuted under Nazi rule. The play will be staged Friday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. A special benefit performance will be held on Saturday, at 8:30 p.m. for the Holocaust Center. Arbor Day Celebration, Marquand Park, Princeton: On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., celebrate Arbor Day with "Children's Arboretum and Walking Tour" at Marquand Park, 87 Lovers Lane. The rain date is Sunday. Get free seedlings, a free children's book featuring the park's special trees and enjoy cookies and lemonade. The event is open to children of all ages. For more information, click here. Hopewell Hayride Show, United Methodist Church, Hopewell: On Saturday, enjoy the best in country music, bluegrass and Americana at the Hopewell Hayride Show. The show is the offshoot of the "HeartlandHayride" a country variety show performed to a live audience and broadcast over WDVR FM 89.7 Radio in Sergeantsville. This year's performers include Linda Kay, Chris Turner, Emily Darcy, Ken Darcy, Grassland Band and Al Kessel & Never Too Late Band. Donation:$15, children 12 and under: $7.50.
