Gala Will Celebrate Anniversaries Of Historic Annapolis, Watermark

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Thursday gala will celebrate major milestones for two Annapolis organizations. This year is the 70th anniversary of Historic Annapolis, a group that runs downtown museums. It is also the 50th birthday of Watermark, a business that offers boat and walking tours around the city. "As two pillars of Annapolis, both organizations are eager to share this special year with the community that made their achievements possible," Watermark said in a newsletter. "Partake in creative appetizers from the area's premier caterers, and enjoy a glass of bubbly as you stroll the hidden oasis of an English garden." The rain-or-shine ball will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the William Paca House and Garden, located at 186 Prince George Street. There will be an open bar and hors d'oeuvres from 18 caterers. Honest Lee Soul and the Naptown Brass Band will play some tunes. The 21+ event will also have a charitable raffle. Tickets cost $100, and they are available at this link. $50 per ticket is tax-deductible. Proceeds will benefit Historic Annapolis. More information on the history group is posted at annapolis.org.
