Also known as a pool table mechanic to help us move pool tables!!! Hello. My Name is Scott and I operate a pool table moving company. Our job is to move and service pool tables and other game room items, and we are looking for a responsible worker in good physical condition who is looking to work hard while making some great money! The Job... (In general) We are looking for someone who can commute to my small shop in Arvada, (64th and Sheridan area) and then drive around town in our work van with another tech to break down, load up, and move 3 piece slate pool table parts. Then unload the parts, including the slates and get it set back up and ready for play! This will start as a basic labor position overall, but duties will grow depending on specific situations and as you learn about this trade! (Trouble shooting skills and mechanically inclined people tend to do very well at this job.) We also pride ourselves on putting our employees first and safety is priority number one! (That means we don't put our techs in dangerous situations just to make a quick dollar!) Half of the day is directly working with pool tables and the other half is typically just driving from job to job once your are trained. Your Pay... NOTE! This is a W-4 position. We can not pay under the table! The starting pay is $22 per hour, with no prior experience as a technician in training. We are also excited to offer a guaranteed $1200 sign on bonus after 6 months of dedicated service! With more bonuses to come based on your motivation to learn the trade and your productivity! Our guaranteed sign on bonus will be paid as follows. A $200 bonus will come after your first 2 months, then another $400 more after your first 4 months, and another $600 bonus after your first 6 months. That's a $1200 bonus after just 6 months of employment. We also guarantee a $1 per hour raise every year you are employed with us up to $30 per hour! Field technicians also often earn tips and also receive a $50 profit share on all pool tables we sell or flip! The fine print! Please note that appearance is very important and we require clean cut workers. You will be representing our business in multi million dollar homes. Work pants or shorts, good shoes, and company shirts are required every day! NO BOOTS AND NO SWEAT PANTS! Weekly hours may very between 25 and 40+ hours per week. We are also very flexible based our work load and your needs. We realize that people have families and other interests also and we are willing to work around our employees personal lives. The Important Stuff! This job requires heavy lifting at times and requires many trips up and down stairs when we are working in basements. It is also very important to come prepared for serious hard work! You must be able to lift and carry100lbs slates for short periods. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes per haul, (hauling pool table parts) a few times a day. The rest of our work day will be driving around and working with hand tools. Personally I think this job is awesome and pretty easy but may not be for everyone. So please let us know if you have experience in moving of any kind!
