Here are the top stories today in New Orleans: A New Orleans Police Officer was arrested Wednesday after a joint investigation conducted by the FBI and NOPD Public Integrity Bureau led them to charge him with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of illegal weapons. The 18-year-old officer was arrested after a search warrant was executed on his property. (WDSU New Orleans) The City of New Orleans has launched a new online portal to make it easier for people who paid for the expenses of recovering their stolen vehicles to be reimbursed by the city. The new system will allow people to submit claims for impound fees all the way back to 2017. (WGNO New Orleans) Wednesday morning saw two shootings, which are believed to be separate incidents, in the Treme and Tulane-Gravier areas. Two men arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds for treatment while NOPD has begun investigating both crimes.
