Here are the top 3 stories today in Franklin: Southerner's Coffee truck, usually located at the French's parking lot at 328 5th Avenue in downtown Franklin, has been temporarily relocated to Barrels and Brews on 1306 Murfreesboro Road. The coffee truck is anticipated to return this summer with its hours of operation being Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. In the meantime, there are other Southerner's Coffee locations in the area, including its Cool Springs location at 100 Mission Court, as well as its new Fairview franchise. (Williamson Source)Mayor Ken Moore is expected to give his annual State of the City address at the Rolling Hills Community Church on May 11. "Better Together" is the theme for this year's speech, and Mayor Moore will be discussing how the community working together has helped the City of Franklin recover from the recent pandemic. Mayor Moore and City Administrator Eric Stuckey will also recap the City's many accomplishments in 2021, as well as announce projects on the horizon for 2022.
