Email Resume to [email protected] Qualifications CDL A (Preferred) US work authorization (Preferred) Full Job Description Stone Hill Excavating, LLC is seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, career-driven individual for the position of Excavation Laborer. The desired candidate must have experience in operating Heavy Motorized Machinery, as well as previous experience working in residential construction and septic work, and experience and comfortability working in the field under various weather conditions. Candidates must have a solid work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills and trades, take direction well and work well with others. Candidates must be safety-oriented in all situations and environments, have good time management skills and have the knowledge necessary to handle pipes, fittings and other materials. Qualified candidates must: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the earth-moving, construction industry Have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy machinery; backhoe, track hoe, dozer, excavator, etc. Must have experience and willingness to learn grading, laser-use, and setup Must be able to understand and possess willingness to learn how to read plans; site-work, cut sheets, elevation shots, etc. Must be able to "see ahead" and plan your next moves; this is a fast-paced, outcome-oriented environment, and time = money! Possess trade skills such as mechanical, plumbing, and septic system familiarity This position requires 100% manual labor and the candidate must be reasonably fit and conditioned Able to work under extreme conditions, such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust, and dirt Able to stand for extended periods of time throughout shift Have the ability to lift tools, machinery parts, and other objects weighing up to 75 pounds each Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching throughout shift Must be available to work Saturday's - there is room for flexibility upon discussion Candidates will be hired on a temporary 30-90 day trial basis to asses proper levels of experience and comprehension Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Overtime Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay Experience: Heavy Motorized Equipment Operation: 3 years (Preferred) Excavation & Earth Moving Operations: 5 years (Required) Ground Excavation via Hand Shovel and Mini-Excavator: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Preferred)
